Big Weekend!

It hits this friday night with a massive line up for the crew! the youth band leading worship at 6.00pm and 8.00pm with Sy rogers and J john preaching. Then we close out on a high with the Hillsong United Band, which we've rostered on what could quite possibly be our dvd record team, (although we'll have 8 cameras for that so we'll be able to include more talented rvtv members.)

The weekend is going to be the highlight of the year for RVTV. we've had our most ever amount of volunteers, far more than we can actually use for each service! which is a great problem to have.. and traditionally its always been a great weekend of unity as members from all 6 teams come together as one crew to do the strongest & most dynamic shoots of the year.. I can't wait!! (although i do have a lot of videos to edit between now and then!)

Events like this make it a privillege to be a part of the RVTV crew.

RVTV First Post !!

Hello.. Harry Boy here..

Well i thought this was a good idea and so i've just gone ahead and created it. Let's see what becomes of it in the future. Maybe it'll be a hit success, and maybe it will be a miserable failure.. but worth a shot.

I'm about to invite all of our film crew staff, team leaders and tech people to become contributors so they can hopefully post weekly-fortnightly updates on how their team is doing and who's progressing and maybe posting a few pictures of their team too. In fact people can post really whatever they want providing it's related to film crew..

Right now is a really exciting time to be part of the crew. We're growing and expanding into more teams, we're now covering the south service.. we've got stunning digital cameras and a great staff team to manage them and allow us to produce some really cool stuff. More importantly though, we have 80 or so amazing loyal servants who love to rock up each week and serve our great God with passion and energy.

We have the big weekend and church together coming up this weekend and it's very exciting for all of us. Being on the crew on a week to week basis is great, but it's an amazing feeling when people from all of our 6 teams unite and come together for a bunch of super shoots across a weekend. It's really special.. I've always loved being part of RISE and Church together and this year will be no exception.

Anyway. here we go!
